Book at this locationA kidney transplant requires lifelong specialist follow-up to maintain graft function. Dr. Anil Prasad Bhatt provides comprehensive post-transplant care for patients transplanted at Max Noida and recipients of transplants done elsewhere who have moved to Delhi NCR. The programme covers the first year intensive monitoring and long-term annual surveillance.
Post-transplant care covers: immunosuppression optimisation (Tacrolimus + MMF + steroids), CMV/BKV/PCP prophylaxis and surveillance, BP/sugar/lipid control, cancer screening (skin, cervix, colon), cardiovascular risk reduction, infection management, and management of rejection episodes when they occur.
Dr. Bhatt's long-form post-transplant slots at Renacare Sec 37 (6-8pm Mon/Wed/Fri) allow 30–45 minutes of one-on-one time. Routine 1-month and 3-month protocol biopsies are scheduled at Max Sector 128. Annual graft surveillance includes GFR, proteinuria screen, and ultrasound.
